Minutes from the Ordinary Annual General Meeting of the

Consular Corps of Western Sweden at

The Royal Bachelors´ Club on February 6, 2008

1. The meeting elected Consul- general Carl G Brunius Chairman of the Meeting.

Consul Jörgen Tilander and Consul-general Seref Arhan were elected to check the Minutes.

The Meeting confirmed that notice of the Annual Meeting was given well in advance.

The Board’s Annual Report, which had been distributed to all members together with the invitation, was duly approved.

In the absence of the auditor Consul-general Bertil Fröberg the Secretary read the Auditor’s report.

Following the recommendation of the Auditor the Meeting approved the Balance Sheet as per December 31, 2007.

- The Chairman presented the CCW History Book project.He gave the background to this

project and outlined the timeplan as well as the financial implications.

The Book is due to be ready 2009 and estimated costs SEK 500.000:-

As of today we have guarantees for SEK 330.000:-from various foundations in Göteborg.

The Meeting duly approved the presented plan.

- The Secretary suggested on behalf of the Board that the Meeting should appoint our

Chairman Consul-general Carl G Brunius Honoray Member of CCW. He has served

28 years as Consul-general of Ireland, 13 years as Secretary of CCW and has been our

Chairman for 6 years. He has also during many years been our representative on the

Board of Corps Consulaire en Suède. He is now leaving his position as Chairman as

he according to our Statutes cannot be elected.

The Meeting duly approved this proposition and warmly thanked Mr Brunius for his many

years of excellent service.

- The Chairman warmly thanked Consul-general Anita Gerdne and Consul-general Ralf Galme

for their two periods of service on the Board, Mr Galme as Secretary. They have also represented

CCW on the Board of Corps Consulaire en Suède. They will both at the forthcoming Annual General

Meeting of Corps Consulaire en Suède in Helsingborg May 15 receive the Order of Merit of

CC en Suède “Pour le Mérite”.This was duly approved by the Meeting.

The Treasurer Consul Kenneth Orrgren, presented the budget for 2008. Against this background he suggested the Annual fee for 2008 to be unchanged viz. SEK 500:- for Head of Post and SEK 400:- for non-active members. The Annual fee to Corps Consulaire en Suéde is included in the above. This was approved by the Meeting.

Following the recommendation of the Nominating Committee the Meeting elected Consul Kenneth Orrgren as Chairman for a period of 2 years.

Following the recommendation of the Nominating Committee the Meeting elected Consul Lars-Eric Boreström, Consul-general Bertil Fröberg , Consul Eira Parppei and Consul-general Erik Svensson as Board Members for a period of 3 years.

Following the recommendation of the Nominating Committee the Meeting elected Consul Bo Myhrman Auditor and Consul-general Anita Gerdne Deputy Auditor for a period of one year.

Following the recommendation from the Chairman of the Nominating Committee the Meeting elected Consul Bo Feltner,Consul Fredrik Vinge and Consul-general Ralf Galme to the Nominating Committee for a period of 3 years.

16. No further matters arising the Meeting was closed by the Chairman.
